I want to start off by saying that I absolutely LOVE this line. It completely exceeded all of my expectations. There are quite a few other products in the line but I’ve only tried the ones that I mentioned above. I actually first encountered this line in Atlanta at Summit 21 in 2018 where I received a FREE full size Knot Away Leave-in Detangler. Y’all know I loveeeeee FREE! LOL Then fast forward a month I was at the 2018 Ubiquitous Hair & Health Trade Show, in D.C., where I received all the rest of those products I mentioned in addition to the Pure Honey edge control all for less than $20!!! Talk about hitting the natural hair jackpot.
The entire Pure Honey line is infused with a blend of pure honey, certified natural coconut oil, and Shea butter which provide your hair with the moisture, softness, and smoothness it requires. There are numerous benefits for your royal crown from these three main ingredients I want to specifically highlight honey however. Honey is a natural humectant and emollient meaning that it can easily retain moisture and softens and smooths. This is what makes it such a wonderful conditioner and moisturizer. Prior to using this line I was already mixing honey in all of my deep conditioner concoctions and I’m NEVER disappointed.

In the winter months my hair tends to require a lot more moisture. I have to be careful what products I choose to remedy this problem with however because heavier moisturizers or twisting creams tend to just weigh my hair down. This is what made this Pure Honey line absolutely perfect for me. These products made my hair feel amazing. I retained moisture for a lot longer than usual, my hair was soft and had a nice sheen to it. My curls were very voluptuous and bouncy. All of these amazing benefits and my hair didn’t feel weighed down by product at all. I went back and forth between twist outs and wash-n-go’s and let me just say that twisting cream is absolutely THE BEST. A little goes a really long way and the smell isn’t bad at all either. The curl definition I achieved with the twisting cream was probably the best I’ve had in years.
It’s very rare that I actually wear my pre-twist out twists out of the house. But the twisting cream was so good to my hair it had me feeling myself. My twists looked super healthy and moisturized. They had a nice sheen and bounce to them. I made them a little smaller than usual so my hair would look fuller especially in the front. I would wear my twists during the week and then my twist out during the weekend shenanigans.
The shampoo and conditioner both provided really good slip making it possible to finger detangle while washing and conditioning my hair. The smell just like the twisting cream is pretty nice, this line has a subtle pleasant honey scent that leaves you feeling relaxed and pampered after a good wash day. No matter how dry my hair might have felt before applying either product, after applying the product my hair was left feeling soft and rejuvenated.
